My First Styled shoot and my first post on the new blog! Thank you so much Su-an from the Old forest School for having us at your amazing new venue, no wonder you are almost all booked up for the summer, its such a beautiful place. From the forest setting right down to the tiniest details, everything is tasteful and well thought out. Thank you to Hayley my model and Emily my assistant for braving the stormy drive over and the cold hours of shooting. Huge thank yous to A La Robe in Parnell for the beautiful dresses, to Roses Florist in Mt Eden for the stunning flowers and to Marnie Jade for the flawless make up . The last dress my mum brought back from a vintage store in the UK, I haven't found anywhere to wear it yet but happy it fit perfectly with my vision for the shoot. Although I love photographing real weddings it was a refreshing change to be the one choosing the setting, the garments, the flowers and the props and not having the strict time constraints of a wedding day. I hope you enjoy the end result!
