Bevan & Sarah - 1920s wedding at The Narrows Landing, Waikato

Bevan and Sarah celebrated their day is such a timeless way. The touches of 1920s vintage made the day unique but didn't distract from the love and laughter. Sarah is one of those people who looks like a film star in almost every photo but the best thing is her beauty doesn't stop there. Love for friends and family is always the my favourite thing to witness on a wedding day and it was everywhere I turned. These guy's have three gorgeous kids who they involved in so much of the day - they were the sweetest. Their eldest was even brave enough to speak during the ceremony, something this parents helped him write but much to their surprise he'd put his own spin on it!

Brent and Anna - Coromandel Wedding Photographer

A wedding with all of my favourite things - sun, the ocean and loads of laughs. Orua Beach House is one of those magical places where the world slows down, city life slips away and you wish you could stick around for ever. Brent and Anna's day over looking Hot Water Beach was the right amount of chilled, adventurous and fun. Ask most wedding photographers and they will tell you they squeal with joy (sometimes on the inside) when their couples tell them they are up for some adventure and don't mind the hassle of hard-to-get-to epic locations. Swapping heels for jandals or sneakers, all 10 of the bridal party tackled a steep cliff climb to one of the most stunning landscapes in New Zealand. After a quick run around in the forest we headed back for a seaside ceremony and drinks overlooking another spectacular clifftop view. The Dirty Dancing inspired first dance was another highlight - some guests were involved, others screamed from the sidelines and of course it wouldn't be Dirty Dancing with out the legendary lift. Ambitious but they nailed it!
