Ché and Tracy's wedding day at Old Forest School, Bay of Plenty

On a scorcher of a day in December Ché and Tracy were married under the shade of the trees at Old Forest School. Two beautiful bach's on a nearby beach provided spectacular locations for the prep and meant hiding from the guys as they drove past enroute to the ceremony. Tracy mentioned in her photo requests "bonus points for photos with horses." I think I may have scored a few of those! We were lucky the horses loved us, maybe Tracy's veil a little too much. As the sun went down Mr Whippy turned up, as was the music and we all partied under the string of lights in front of Redwood Stables.  Turns out Ché has some very impressive dance moves.

Thanks to Levien & Lens Photography for shooting this one with me.

Lifestyle session at the Gilbert's

What I love about sessions like these is capturing the everyday routine - the kids running around with sauce on their face, the in-between moments, the tantrums and the giggles. These guys are lucky enough to live on a large property which is covered with dandelions at this time of year - so that's where we started. Deisel their dog was never too far behind.  The girls then had dinner in their playhouse and a bubble bath in an old claw foot bath with some sweet window light. I loved capturing this slice of life for you guys!
