Talia and Jesse up Mt Eden

These guys have such a great story,  both grew up in Auckland's Balmoral and were childhood sweethearts from the age of 15. Ten years later they are living it up in New York city, only to fly home to tie the knot in February.   We thought it was only fitting to walk up Mt Eden summit for their engagement shoot as so many childhood memories were up made here and in the flats below.  It was so easy to photograph the connection between these two - they were so at ease in each other's company. 

I can't wait to tell the story of their wedding day.

Ross & Jess' wedding at The Red Barn, Waikato

Ross and Jess' wedding day was simple, elegant and full of personal touches.  The love these two share was written all over their faces all day long.  Their friends and family were equally as ecstatic to share the day with the couple so it wasn't hard to capture loads of smiles and emotional moments.  The Red Barn has a beautiful driveway and lush green paddocks only a stone throw from the ceremony spot which provide the perfect backdrop for photos.  Stacey, the brides sister made one of the funniest and most heart wrenching speeches I've ever witnessed and had the guests (and photographer) in both stitches and tears. Now thats a sign of a good speech!  All the best for the future you two, it was an absolute pleasure to document your day.
