Whats better than a summer festival? A festival inspired wedding! With all the people you love and not being able to stop laughing (+ crying) for most of the day. The Opoutere forest provided the perfect spot for Jesse and Talia's big day. A ceremony where the forest meets the beach both looked and felt magical - having two different landscapes so close together meant two epic photo backdrops without venturing too far. The light coming through the trees in the forest as the sun started to dip in the sky looked like something out of a fairytale. These two were so at ease in front of the camera, they joked around and had fun together letting me snap away and capture their both their connection and their giggles. This was one of the biggest wedding days I've photographed, jam packed with personalized DIY's and additions from loving friends and family members. Being a guest as well as the photographer provided its challenges but I would not have swapped the combo for anything, I ended up having a boogie with my camera round my neck until after 11pm.
