Briony and Alex - Castaway's Wedding in Waiuku, Auckland

For Briony and Alex’s day we joined beach goers, paragliders and 4WD beach cruisers to enjoy New Zealand’s first long weekend of summer. Castaways Resort with its views over jagged cliffs and Karioitahi Beach provided the most spectacular backdrop for the day.

I loved seeing the nods to both the bride and grooms Scottish heritage with knot tying, a two handled loving cup and of course a couple of gentlemen in kilts.

Ben and Amanda in Palomino, Columbia - Destination Wedding Photographer

Ben and Amanda booked out the entire Playa La Roca Eco Resort for their destination wedding in the slice of paradise that is Palomino, Columbia. The five days of festivities meant by the time the wedding day rolled around everyone knew each other and had more than made the most of all this amazing place had to offer.  My husband and I were nearing the end our time living in Guatemala when these guys (who we lived with in Vietnam) asked me to document their day last June. We made Columbia a stop on our way home and man am I glad we did!!
